 I fixed up some of the shaky shots using warp stabalizer and trimmed all the shots that served me purpose. It was a tiring and exciting process at the same time !!

To day i finished my shooting and finalized things. It was tough but i managed to get good shots and i hope people understand the whole idea and everything that was going on. Like day 2, we shot in the day and these are some of the shots I took 

 So firstly I decided to compile all the shots i had taken for now and add music to the background just to see how it looked.  After placing the shots together i checked if they needed any color grading, but the lighting matched my mis-en-scene so I just let it be. Look forward to seeing the final product.

 So today was the shoots second day, and this time we decided to do it in the day. The weather was great and it was slightly raining, creating a great setting for the robbery.

 In todays shoot it was all about getting an idea of the task, so I called my actors to the house where we were supposed to shoot. after shooting a few shots indoor, we got to the outside shots and i realized, nothing could be seen. It was too dark and no form of editing could fix that. Here are a few of the outdoor shots I took As you can see it is too dark. Tomorrow i will discuss with my sir about the solution to this problem.

 So I designed my Digi Pak on Adobe Photoshop using a template, hope you like it !!

 In todays Media studies class we studied about the BBFC and its different ratings for viewership of different of different content. He explained that BBFC is the board for films which decides which movie is appropriate for which audience for example; some movies are R rated meaning they are only meant for consumers above the age of 17. Here are the notes I took in class. Along with BBFC he taught us about PEGI, which serves the same purpose, but for video games.

 A few days ago we started a new chapter called Media Ecology, so I wanted to share some of the notes sir Nadeem Zulfiqar gave us. We learnt about the following people; 1. Lance Strate 2. Neil Postman 3. Jarron Lanier 4. Sherry Turkle 5. Tapscott We saw different lectures done by these people on YouTube in class.

 I started shooting my music video and i wanted to share my progress with you guys. I realised shooting at night is harder than i thought. The camera does not focus properly and you need to hold it very still. This time as Producer, Director and Camera man there is a lot of pressure on me and i must remain focused to complete my task!!! Here are a few practice shots I took!!

 I want my music video to have a certain darkness too it. I have set the props of the characters according to what an action/thriller genre movie video requires and I have chosen gloomy rooms in the house too shoot. For the outdoor shots I chose an area near the house, a few empty narrow streets which kind of have a creepy look to them. 

 As far as I am concerned, I need a good location to pull this story off and to create an appropriate Mis-en-scene. After careful consideration I decided to go with the main actor Gibran's house as it fit all the criteria. I expect to start shooting soon!!

 After a carefull discussion with my media sir Nadeem Zulfiqar, i decided to change my script a little. The updated script is the following  New Script For Media Project A2   A professional burglar with a mysterious past is shown as the main character in this music video. The video takes place with dark shots showing his gloomy personality along with a text message with a picture of a house, his next target. The video carries on with with him preparing for the heist with cinematic shots. After a successful heist he receives another text saying that his life is in danger, so he has no choice but to run. As soon as hes on the street a black vehicle starts to pursue him. Three unknown men kidnap him and hold him captive. Only to find out he has mysteriously disappeared.  

 I always wanted to try photography, but I always got caught up in something or the other. Today i decided to take out my camera and take a shot of my cat! It did not turn out how I thought it would but anyways i had fun !!

 After deciding that I wanted to make a heist music video, i started researching in the genre and found a few videos for inspiration.  today i purchased a new camera for my music video shoting and wanted to showcase it to you guys. It is the Nikon D1500 and so far I am thoroughly impressed by it.  Look forward to shooting my music video with this awesome device.

 So after I wrote the script I decided to make a rough storyboard for my project. Its incomplete but i am getting somewhere !!

 So after a lot of thinking and research, I finally came up with a plot and story for my music video. I  might make some minor changes in the story but for now this is the story; MUSIC VIDEO A2 PROJECT TAHA ZAFAR Song= Oscar and the Wolf Runaway Synopsis A normal everyday person in a dead end job notices a huge house on his way back from work. He plans to meet his friend (the getaway driver) at midnight to rob that house. Soon after a successful hit it becomes an addiction for him and every house he sees he wants to rob. This leads to a series of events in which he is also made to take the life of another person and immediately regrets it, however his friend sends him a picture of a really big house and convinces him to make it his last robbery there. The house they target is being heavily protected by security and soon the police arrives. The video ends with his friend getting killed and him surrendering to the police.
